Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team and help us architect, build, and scale the backend of our platform. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable APIs, managing multi-tenant infrastructure, and ensuring high availability and security.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Scalable APIs: Develop robust REST/GraphQL APIs for seamless integration and high performance.
  • Architect and Manage Multi-Tenant Infrastructure: Design and implement secure authentication, billing, and user/project management systems.
  • Implement Asset Management Pipelines: Set up efficient upload, processing, storage, and delivery systems for images, videos, and HTML5 bundles.
  • Set Up Role-Based Access Control: Implement RBAC and permissions for teams/agencies using the platform.
  • Integrate Payment Gateways: Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay) for subscription management.
  • Ensure High Availability and Security: Collaborate with the team to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong Proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript: Proven experience in developing scalable backend applications using Node.js or Python/Go.
  • SaaS Product Architecture Experience: Hands-on experience with SaaS product architecture, including authentication (OAuth/JWT), multi-tenant databases, and subscription models.
  • Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase) and ability to design efficient database schemas.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • API Security and Optimization: Strong understanding of API security, scalability, and performance optimization techniques.
  • File Uploads and Storage Systems: Experience handling file uploads, storage systems (S3/GCS), and CDN integration.
  • DevOps Practices: Understanding of DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging).
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Prior SaaS Experience: Prior experience building creative SaaS tools (design platforms, editors, adtech, game engines).
  • WebSockets and Serverless Architecture: Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time collaboration and experience with serverless architecture.
