">This is an opportunity to become a key figure in our organization's financial operations. We are seeking an experienced accountant to oversee and manage the general accounting functions.
">Responsibilities:
">1. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
">2. Analyze financial information, summarize financial status, and present error-free reports to management.
">3. Develop and implement efficient procedures to improve spending and suggest modifications to accounting systems and processes.
">4. Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers, providing guidance and support to achieve goals.
">5. Prepare financial statements, assist with tax audits, and plan staff work assignments.
">6. Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles and liaise with Financial Controllers to improve financial procedures.
">Requirements:
">• Proven experience as an accountant.
">• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and in-depth understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP).
">• Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close process, and hands-on experience with accounting software packages like Xero and QuickBooks.
">• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
">• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
">• Degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) preferred.
