Key responsibilities for this NetSuite consultant position involve evaluating customer business needs and translating them into scalable solutions using the NetSuite ERP system. This role requires expertise in developing detailed solution designs, managing clients throughout implementation phases, and ensuring seamless delivery of full lifecycle services including design, testing, validation, deployment, and user training.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of business processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in configuring various modules within the NetSuite system. They should also be proficient in preparing detailed functional design documentation and configuration guides, executing test plans, and analyzing complex issues related to data, configuration, and processes.
Additionally, this NetSuite consultant will need to stay up-to-date with evolving NetSuite capabilities and industry best practices. They must be able to deliver high-quality NetSuite ERP training in areas such as chart of accounts, tax configuration, multi-subsidiary setup, vendor payments, and bank transactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 3+ years of hands-on experience in NetSuite ERP implementation and functional consulting
- Proven experience in initial system setup and configuration, data migration planning and execution, master and transactional data setup, and ERP cut-over and go-live planning
- Expertise in configuring company setup, chart of accounts, tax nexus, multi-subsidiary & multi-currency setups, vendor payment methods, banking, inventory, and sales modules
- Functional knowledge of sales & distribution, pricing, forecasting, procurement, BOM, production planning, inventory & stock management, QA, returns management, financial reporting, GL, P&L, balance sheet impacts, and integration with CRM systems
