Lead Data Integration Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Integration Specialist to spearhead our data engineering efforts.

The ideal candidate will design and develop end-to-end data integration solutions, optimize workflows, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and enhance ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IICS.
  • Incorporate IICS solutions with cloud-based data platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google BigQuery (GBQ).
  • Optimize pipelines for scalability and performance.
  • Develop reusable data mappings, task flows, and parameterized solutions.
  • Manage deployments, migrations, and version control of IICS assets.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ETL jobs.
  • Mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of ETL development experience, with 2–3 years in Informatica IICS.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Hands-on experience with GCP and Google BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data cataloging tools.
  • Experience integrating data from on-prem, SaaS applications, and cloud data lakes.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
