Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Mumbai office. The Power Division focuses on power generating facilities, offering a wide range of design and project execution experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and evaluation of mechanical systems associated with coal and natural gas fired power generation facilities and support facilities.
  • Perform work involving both conventional engineering practices and complex situations, requiring innovation relative to work practices and procedures.
  • Maintain diverse project teams and develop consensus to identify optimal solutions to complex problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of related experience in fossil generation with exposure to piping design, pump selection, rotating equipment, and process design.
  • Software experience utilizing AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom, SmartPlant P&ID, and SmartPlant Review is preferred.
  • Familiarity with power industry codes and standards, including ASME B31.1, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Sections I and Section VIII.

This position requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments.
