Backend Development Instructor Position

We are seeking a skilled Backend Development Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in backend development and be able to teach students the skills they need to succeed in this field.

The role will involve contributing technical expertise in Node.js, Express.js, Databases, APIs, or MERN stack to support academic and project-based learning. The instructor will also be responsible for designing, reviewing, and refining backend curriculum and learning materials to reflect real-world practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Mentoring: Provide technical guidance to students during labs and backend projects, helping them debug, optimize, and scale applications.
  • Curriculum Development: Assist in designing and reviewing backend curriculum and learning materials to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with faculty members and other instructors to align curriculum with industry needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience as a Software Developer/Engineer with a focus on Backend Development.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, Databases (SQL/NoSQL), and API design.
  • Solid understanding of backend fundamentals such as RESTful APIs, authentication, server-side logic, and performance optimization.
