Senior Data Solutions Architect

Job Overview:

The role of a Senior Data Solutions Architect entails overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data-driven solutions for organizations.

This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, designing architectures, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements, and implementing best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data strategies that align with organizational goals
  • Develop and maintain scalable data architectures, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Lead a team of data engineers and analysts in delivering data solutions
  • Establish data governance frameworks, ensuring security, compliance, and data quality
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency
  • Stay current with Microsoft Fabric features, updates, and industry trends
  • Recommend improvements and implement best practices in data management

Requirements:

To succeed as a Senior Data Solutions Architect, you must possess:

  • 9-12 years of experience in data engineering and architecture
  • 5+ years' experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse)
  • At least 1 year in MS Fabric (client implementation, not POC) projects
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
