We are seeking a highly skilled System Performance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve overall delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Observability Systems: Design and implement observability systems such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Dynatrace and others to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop Modern Observability Practices: Develop modern observability practices such as SRE, SLI/SLO, Synthetic, APM and RUM to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Script Development: Develop scripts using Python, Shell and PowerShell to automate system tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD tools like GitLab and Jenkins.
  • ITIL Framework: Understand ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks and tools to manage service requests effectively.
  • Service Request Management: Utilize Service Now ticketing system to manage service requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Agile Framework: Apply Agile framework and tools such as Jira and Confluence to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and spoken English communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Quality Improvement: Ability to measure and identify areas for improving quality and overall delivery.
  • Effective Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with Paris team for resolving issues.

Desirable Skills:

  • Backup and Resilience Setup: Knowledge of IT production backup and resilience setup.
  • Distributed Systems: Understanding of key concepts of distributed systems.
  • Linux Administration: Basic knowledge of RedHat Linux administration and performance management.
  • Ansible and Docker: Notions of Ansible and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Nomad.
  • Cloud Platform: Experience with any cloud platform preferably IBM Cloud.
