Demand Planning Expert

Overview of the Position:

  • Lead in managing demand planning processes for Oracle, covering forecasting and measure management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support CTO forecasting and planning measure management processes.
  2. Collect data from Fusion and internal systems, troubleshoot failures.
  3. Support supply planning processes such as MPR and constrained/unconstrained planning.
  4. Utilize expertise in supply planning data models, REST APIs, and BIP reports to drive business outcomes.
  5. Manage end-to-end planning integrated business cycles.
  6. Resolve critical planning issues related to plan behavior, data gaps, Supply/demand reconciliation issues etc.
  7. Execute quarterly patching testing and validations.
  8. Receive, analyze, and prioritize support tickets related to Oracle Demand Planning Processes including CTO forecasting and planning measure management.
  9. Perform initial assessment of issues with data collection from Fusion, internal and external systems.
  10. Triage failures and route to appropriate support teams/On-calls.
  11. Document and categorize supply planning process like MRP and constrained/unconstrained planning.
  12. Identify severity and impact of problems related to supply planning data models, REST APIs and BIP reports.
  13. Monitor & Coordinate support for E2E planning integrated Business Cycles.
  14. Manage incident tickets related to support E2E Oracle SCP.
  15. Track and prioritize quarterly patch testing needs.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with Oracle Demand, Supply Planning & Global Order Promising solutions.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data collections and integration between systems.
  • Knowledge of MRP and planning process.
  • Experience with REST APIs and BIP reporting.
  • Good Understanding of integrated planning business cycles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage quarterly patch testing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Technical aptitude with data models, BIP and system integration(REST APIs etc.).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
