SAP IBP Specialist Job Description

Job Title: SAP Supply Chain Planning Expert

  • We are seeking a highly skilled SAP IBP specialist to join our team as we continue to grow and expand our operations.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned SAP IBP professional to leverage their expertise in supply chain planning, demand management, and inventory optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP IBP, with experience in implementing and supporting complex supply chain processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement and configure SAP IBP Demand Planning (DP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Inventory Optimization (I/O)
  2. Develop and maintain functional specifications, design blueprints, and related documentation
  3. Configure and troubleshoot application jobs, ECC ADD on BADI's knowledge, Cloud Platform Integrator (CPI) knowledge, Master data set ups, IBP Heuristics, Optimizer, Deployment, Demand Prioritization
  4. Maintain good knowledge of SCM Integration with SAP ERP & overview of other related modules. Experience with complex Architecture / interfaces
  5. Perform custom & standard configurations in SAP system to satisfy business requirements
  6. More than 6+ years of Hands on Experience in SAP IBP enhancements and Developments to meet business needs
  7. Excellent knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Planning Solution (SAP IBP) and SAP S/4 and ECC
  8. Ability to work closely with client personnel to ensure requirements are correctly identified and documented
  9. Provides 24x7 level 3 on-call support of production systems on a rotation basis
Requirements:
  • More than 10 year of experience in SCM domain
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of working with globally distributed cross-cultural teams
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) and interpersonal skills a must
