Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative data solutions. As a key member of our data intelligence team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines and dashboards that provide valuable insights into material handling systems.

The successful candidate will have experience deploying data pipelines using Databricks and Java, as well as strong SQL, Java, and data modeling skills. Additionally, they will have hands-on experience with visualization software such as Splunk or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data & dashboarding solutions to maximize customer value.
  • Deploy and automate data pipelines and dashboards to enable project implementation.
  • Work with international teams in a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Make data available for other teams to enable platform vision.
  • Communicate proactively to take ownership of solutions.
  • Participate in agile methodology, creating stories and refining processes.
  • Collect feedback to improve standardized products.
  • Lead communication with stakeholders on deployed projects.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent (4-8 years experience). They will also have experience working with Pyspark, Spark, and data schemas (e.g., JSON/XML/Avro), as well as familiarity with cloud services (preferably Azure).

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent (4-8 years experience).
  • Experience deploying data pipelines using Databricks and Java.
  • Hands-on experience with visualization software, such as Splunk or similar.
  • Strong SQL, Java, and data modeling skills.
  • Experience with Pyspark, Spark, and data schemas (e.g., JSON/XML/Avro).
  • Experience in deploying services as containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (preferably Azure).
