Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and develop scalable data pipelines to process massive datasets efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include building high-throughput, low-latency pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data at scale.

You will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and solution architects to take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need hands-on experience with streaming pipelines, large-scale data ingestion frameworks, and integrating and fine-tuning LLMs and GenAI models.

You should be comfortable working with custom model development where LLMs cannot be applied and have familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini, Vertex AI, or equivalent platforms.

Benefits

In this role, you will leverage GenAI models (e.g., Gemini Pro, OpenAI, GPT) under the Vertex AI umbrella and build and fine-tune custom models when LLMs are cost-prohibitive or less effective.

You will also collaborate with global teams and manage timezone overlap when required.

Other Requirements

The successful candidate will have proven ability to design and implement high-performance, distributed data solutions and experience processing massive datasets efficiently within strict timeframes.

Our ideal candidate has expert knowledge of Python and experience with GCP, including Vertex AI, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Run, PostgreSQL, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc. Azure experience is a plus.
