Job Title: Software Architect

This system will enable our vehicle to progress to full autonomous driving by 2030.

We're working on specific software functionalities developments to maximise component reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake various tasks and work in a multiple-disciplinary team to mentor junior SW engineers and clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting.
  • Understand requirements and come up with high-level design and decompose them into detailed design.
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs.
  • Create software detailed design and support its implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams.
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations.
  • Communicate effectively with the wider global teams within our organisation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience with at least 3+ years of experience in application design and development.
  • Experience in complex automotive projects owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation.
  • Experience in design and development of software solutions in AUTOSAR.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++.
  • Knowledge of Agile SW development process.
  • Experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack.
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
  • Good understanding of ISO26262.
