Job Overview

As an experienced I&C Instrumentation Designer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design and drafting services that meet client and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Engineering Solutions: Provide discipline-specific design and drafting services, including technical support and supervision within the discipline and to other disciplines.
  • Manage Projects: Initiate, manage and supervise design and draft assignments on project requirements on time and within scope.
  • Prepare Technical Documentation: Perform tasks such as preparing engineering drawings and documentation, checking drawings and documents, and participating in project reviews.
  • Provide Expertise: Provide technical support, supervision and advice to the discipline team and project teams.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and make presentations as required.
Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Substantial Experience: Substantial design and drafting experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry.
  • Proficiency in Modelling Tools: Proficiency in modelling tools such as E3D and AutoCAD.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with SPI for loop drawings and wiring.
  • Familiarity with Software: Familiarity with PDS and Microstation.
  • Qualification: A recognized design qualification in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
