Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle PL SQL Developer and Unix Shell Scripting Developer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both SQL development and Unix shell scripting with expertise in ControlM job scheduling.

This hybrid role requires proficiency in various technical skills, use cases, and deployment tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and ServiceNow.

  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, and indexes.
  • Perform data manipulation operations including data loading and extraction.
  • Optimize PLSQL queries for performance and efficiency.
  • Work with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Support database maintenance tasks like backups, indexing, and query tuning.

The resource must be well-versed with these basic functionalities:

  • PL/SQL development.
  • Unix shell scripting.
  • ControlM job scheduling.
  • GitHub, Jenkins, and ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities

Write test and debug PL/SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

Write test and debug UNIX shell scripts.

Requirements

Experience: 8+ years (8 years Relevant).

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL development.
  • Expertise in Unix shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of ControlM job scheduling.
  • Proficiency in GitHub, Jenkins, and ServiceNow.
