Job Title: Mine Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with Vocational Training Rules, 1966.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and annual returns as per MVTR-1966 requirements.
  • Develop candidate lists for initial and refresher training while imparting practical knowledge to enhance employee skills.
  • Schedule training sessions to match production plans, ensuring seamless integration without affecting production efficiency.
  • Create training modules based on MVTR-1966 specifications.
  • Update forms, annexures, and training records in accordance with MVTR along with other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and submit reports to the relevant authorities at regular intervals.
  • Ensure adherence to strict safety standards and recommendations related to specific areas within the mine.
  • Participate actively in safety training, standard champion meetings, and events to promote a culture of safety.
  • Generate MIS reports and update QCDIP and LCM databases to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Familiarize yourself with IMS and other system requirements, including documents for non-conformity during internal and external audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in mine operations or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of MVTR-1966 requirements and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
