Tank Design Engineer

This role is responsible for producing detailed engineering deliverables, including drawings and specifications, for the design and construction of storage tanks, spheres, and cryogenic projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with 2D and 3D CAD software, as well as a strong understanding of relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and detail storage tanks, spheres, and cryogenic projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Produce detailed engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailing standards and practices.
  • Analyze project specifications and develop solutions.
  • Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tank design and detailing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, including API 650/620 and ASME Section VIII.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
