Lead AI Model Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Model Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of large language models and AI applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional machine learning and deep neural networks, with expertise in leveraging Azure AI services, including Cognitive Search, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure OpenAI.

You will possess excellent proficiency in Python and experience with popular machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Langchain, and NLP tools like SpaCy and NLTK.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based Gen AI solutions.

You will work closely with data engineers to ensure efficient data collection, preprocessing, and management for AI applications.

A successful candidate will provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring best practices in Gen AI development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Azure AI services to build and deploy AI/Gen AI applications.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries.
  • Design and implement agentic AI systems that can autonomously perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with other systems or users effectively.
  • Evaluate and implement different embedding models and chunking strategies.
  • Apply advanced fine-tuning methods to optimize open-source models for specific tasks.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data collection, preprocessing, and management for AI applications.

Requirements:

  • Total Experience 13-15 years; Gen AI Experience – 5 + years.
  • Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology.
