We are seeking an experienced Insurance Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of the delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation and customization of insurance solutions for clients worldwide.

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of software architecture principles and experience working with complex systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical leadership skills, be able to guide developers, and ensure all customizations, integrations, and configurations align with the overall architectural vision.

About the Role

  • Develop scalable and robust software architectures, create technical sequence and component diagrams, and balance trade-offs between performance, scalability, flexibility, and maintainability.
  • Serve as the technical lead for projects, guiding developers and ensuring alignment with the overall architectural vision.
  • Integrate insurance solutions with other enterprise systems, leveraging tools like APIs, webhooks, and integration gateways.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate these into technical requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support, identify areas for improvement, and ensure systems evolve with client needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java - JVM SDK J2EE JMS JDBC.
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based products, including developer fundamentals and cloud integration basics.
  • Experience with Gosu Apache Camel JSON RESTful APIs Camunda Workflow GIT PR reviews IntelliJ, and React.
  • Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective writing skills for drafting technical documentation and explaining technical problems and solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles.
  • Agile team experience.
  • Solution design estimation and breaking down deliverables into user stories and tasks.
  • Technical team leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Code review best practices and development tools expertise.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
