Linux Systems Administrator Job

We are seeking a skilled Linux systems administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Linux operating systems, including Red Hat and CentOS.

This role involves administering Linux systems, troubleshooting performance issues, and ensuring system security. A strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VMware environments, and cloud administration is also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Administering Linux systems, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing system performance
  • Ensuring system security and compliance with industry standards
  • Providing technical support and guidance to team members

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Linux systems administrator
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat and CentOS
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud administration, including AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python and Bash
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ticketing systems
