Financial Expert Sought for Accounting Role

About the Position
  • This accounting position requires a skilled professional to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and improve processes and controls.

The ideal candidate will possess 4 years of experience in accounting and demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are also required, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monthly Financial Closing: Run the month-end calendar and cut-offs; coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Stores, Production, and HR/Payroll.
  2. MIS for Receivables & Payables: Publish weekly & month-end AR/AP dashboards, credit control hygiene, and vendor reconciliations.
  3. GST Reconciliations & Compliance Support: Perform Books GSTR-1 GSTR-3B tie-outs, identify mismatches, and maintain ITC ledgers.
  4. Advances Register & Status: Maintain a live register of supplier, employee, capex/project advances, and monitor ageing.
  5. Controls, Audits & Process Improvement: Ensure SOP adherence, prepare audit schedules, and respond to internal/statutory audit queries.
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience as an accounting professional.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
