Senior Accountant Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site position for an experienced Senior Accountant based in Delhi, India. The role focuses on ensuring GST compliance and smooth export operations.

  • Manage all aspects of GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and ensure timely submissions to the relevant authorities.
  • Handle GST audits and stay up-to-date with any changes in GST laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate export documentation, including shipping bills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth clearance of shipments.
  • Manage foreign inward remittances by clearing Bank Realization Certificates (BRCs) and ensuring compliance with FOREX regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts related to export sales and provide accurate reports to senior management.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong understanding of GST laws, export procedures, and customs regulations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in GST compliance and export documentation.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Busy accounting software.
