US Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled US accounting specialist to join our team in this prestigious global accounting firm. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in maintaining and managing accurate financial records, ledgers, journals, and statements for US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage accurate financial records, ledgers, journals, and statements for US-based clients.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data regularly.
  • Prepare comprehensive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing reports.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
US Tax Compliance & Reporting:
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in accordance with IRS guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with US tax regulations, filing deadlines, and reporting requirements.
Regulatory Compliance & Advisory:
  • Assist clients with compliance requirements related to IRS, state agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support in financial audits, tax audits, and related assessments.
Cross-Border Taxation and Advisory:
  • Advise on cross-border tax implications for US entities working globally.
  • Provide insights on withholding taxes, foreign investments, and treaty benefits.
Client Management & Communication:
  • Collaborate with clients and provide regular updates on financial performance and tax obligations.
  • Build long-term client relationships by ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or EA qualification is preferred but not mandatory; candidates pursuing these qualifications are welcome to apply.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, as well as strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a preference for certifications like CPA, EA, or relevant certifications in US taxation and compliance.
