Identity Access Management Specialist

This role involves supporting and optimizing the Okta Identity Cloud platform, including lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and directory integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain the Okta platform for efficient identity governance and security best practices.
  • Implement and manage identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate new applications into Okta using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM protocols to expand ecosystem capabilities.
  • Monitor and manage Okta workflows, policies, and logs to maintain compliance and efficiency standards.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and user provisioning issues across integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for Okta configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay updated on IAM industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance overall platform performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience administering Okta Identity Cloud.
  • Proficiency with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, and Active Directory protocols.
  • Experience with Okta Workflows, API integrations, and automation.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
