Job Description:


The Logistics Manager - Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards. This includes dispatching, scheduling, and coordinating transportation activities to meet delivery schedules.


In this role, you will provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards. You will serve as a liaison between the branch and the corporate office, communicating effectively with higher management and providing regular updates on branch performance and challenges.


You will be responsible for managing the branch's budget, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, address customer concerns, and identify opportunities for service improvement.


A key focus area will be developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals. This may involve identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and expanding the customer base.


You will also represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and with local business communities. Furthermore, you will conduct training sessions for staff to enhance skills, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high service standards.


To succeed in this role, you should have a Graduate degree in any stream, Logistics, or a related field. Previous experience in a leadership role within the transportation or logistics industry is essential, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
