Job Title: Financial Data Processor

The Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Financial Data Processor to join our team. This key position entails handling financial data with precision, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Voucher Management: Create and maintain vouchers such as journal, payment, receipt, and contra entries. Ensure proper documentation and filing of supporting invoices and bills.
  2. Payment & Receipt Processing: Record payments and receipts accurately in Tally ERP / Tally Prime. Prepare payment vouchers, cheques, and online transfer details. Ensure timely updates of customer and vendor accounts.
  3. Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and match statements with Tally records. Identify and resolve discrepancies in transactions. Maintain accurate records of bank deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  4. Excel Data Management: Prepare basic reports, ledgers, and statements using Microsoft Excel. Enter and organize financial data in spreadsheets for reporting purposes. Assist the accounts team with data analysis and MIS reports.
  5. Accounts Support: Provide support to the senior accountant in GST, TDS, and other compliance-related work (if required). Help maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records. Provide support during internal and external audits.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime is mandatory.
  • Brief knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and other office tools.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
