Wealth Manager - A Senior Role in Investment Strategy and Portfolio Construction.

Job Description:

The role involves developing, implementing, and refining an investment strategy that aligns with the family's long-term objectives, risk appetite, and cash flow needs. The successful candidate will lead portfolio construction, allocation, and optimization across various asset classes, including equities, debt, special situations, startups, real estate, and alternatives.

  • Investment Strategy & Execution: Develop a comprehensive investment strategy aligned with the family's goals.
  • Portfolio Construction & Optimization: Construct and continuously optimize portfolios to meet the family's investment objectives.
  • Market Intelligence & Research: Conduct research on market trends, identify opportunities, and provide insights to inform investment decisions.
  • Networking & Deal Flow: Establish relationships with external wealth managers, advisors, and other industry professionals to source investment opportunities.
  • Portfolio Monitoring & Governance: Monitor portfolio performance, track risk, and prepare reports for stakeholders.

 

Requirements:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related field.
  • CFA/CA/CFA Level II or III, MBA (Finance), or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in managing personal and/or professional investment portfolios.
  • Proven ability to execute investment decisions independently and effectively manage risk.
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of equity and debt capital markets, and proficiency in financial databases and tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and networking skills.
