Site Reliability Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Technology Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and modernization of our technology platforms.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Apply software and systems engineering skills to develop and maintain distributed, real-time systems that serve key stakeholders in the firm's Global business.
  • Automation and Tooling: Optimize operations of existing systems and infrastructure through automation and tooling, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Technical Leadership: Build out foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems, both new and existing.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across user interactions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell; ability to comprehend C# and develop basic applications.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible).
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS.
