We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Textile Designer to join our team. This role will involve developing new carpet collections, mentoring junior designers, and translating creative vision into products that can be woven with clarity and consistency.

  • Develop original carpet and rug designs that align with the brand's creative vision and market trends.
  • Lead the conceptualization and design of seasonal collections and special projects.
  • Translate design briefs into production-ready outputs (graph making, colorways, yarn selection).

This position requires a strong sense of aesthetics, design originality, and storytelling. The ideal candidate will have experience in sustainable or craft-based design projects and a deep understanding of international carpet trends and premium markets.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with skilled artisans, preserve heritage techniques, and lead meaningful design rooted in craft and community.

Responsibilities
  • Developing new carpet collections and mentoring junior designers.
  • Translating creative vision into products that can be woven with clarity and consistency.
  • Working closely with field teams, master weavers, and design leadership to ensure successful design execution on looms.
  • Guiding aesthetic direction for both domestic and international markets.
