Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing databases that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage database performance, ensuring optimal speed and efficiency.
  • Create high-availability architectures that minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and maintain backup and restoration processes that protect our data.
  • Design and deploy monitoring and metrics tooling to track database performance.
  • Manage infrastructure proactively, anticipating and mitigating potential issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Develop and deploy new database objects and changes to existing objects.
  • Design and develop complex relational database reports using SSRS.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of relational database architecture and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and day-to-day DB functions.
  • Experience with Always On High Availability Groups is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud database storage technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
