Job Title: Data Migration Strategist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to lead our organization's data migration initiatives.
  • The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap in alignment with program objectives and timelines.
  • Your key responsibilities will include defining data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Migration Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap in alignment with program objectives and timelines.
  2. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
  3. Data Quality Management: Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data.
  4. Data Reconciliation: Coordinate data reconciliation, defect tracking, and issue resolution processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN, etc.
  • Experience with data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Project Management Skills.
