Job Description

Our organization is looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP data migration consultant to play a crucial role in planning, executing, and managing data migration activities for SAP projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP data management and hands-on implementation experience using the Syniti toolset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee SAP data migration projects from start to finish utilizing the Syniti toolset.
  • Analyze data migration requirements and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop a comprehensive migration strategy.
  • Perform thorough data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading (ETL) activities to ensure seamless data migration.
  • Maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle by implementing effective validation scripts and error resolution processes.
  • Develop and manage mapping rules to guarantee accurate data transfer and provide cutover and post-migration support for a smooth transition to SAP systems.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and dashboards on migration progress and quality metrics to inform stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in SAP data migration projects.
  • Strong expertise with Syniti tool for SAP data migration.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of ETL processes, SQL, data cleansing, and transformation techniques.
  • Experience in migrating master data, transactional data, and configuration data.
Good to Have:
  • Experience with S/4HANA migrations and SAP MDG.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance practices.
  • Exposure to Agile methodology and tools like Jira.
