Job Opportunity for a Skilled FileMaker Pro Developer

A contract position is available for an experienced FileMaker Pro Developer to support a critical migration project. The role involves approximately 20 hours of work and requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with FileMaker Pro, and the ability to deliver within tight timelines.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of FileMaker architecture, relational models, and integrations. Key responsibilities include migrating data, scripts, and layouts from existing FileMaker Pro solutions to the target platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate data, scripts, and layouts from existing FileMaker Pro solutions to the target platform.
  • Review current FileMaker databases to identify dependencies, integration points, and migration challenges.
  • Handle blank tables that need to be re-mapped to ensure a successful migration.
  • Re-map all SQL fields in FileMaker Pro.
  • Update national vending machine numbering for Providence Health and SSM Health.
  • Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure accuracy.
  • Document migration steps, configuration changes, and best practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to address requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
