Job Description

A Site HR Executive will be responsible for managing the human resources operations at a power plant site, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role involves handling employee relations, facilitating communication between the workforce and management, and maintaining workforce management to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Handle local recruitment efforts, including screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for various positions at the site.
  • Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process and ensure new hires are fully integrated into the team.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the point of contact for employee grievances, concerns, and queries for 100-150 employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labor laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Attendance & Payroll Management: Oversee attendance tracking and leave management using HR systems, coordinate with the central HR team for payroll processing, and ensure accuracy.
  • Health, Safety, and Welfare: Collaborate with the safety officer to ensure a safe working environment and monitor employee welfare.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in HR management software and Microsoft Office, ability to handle complex employee relations issues, and experience in managing a large workforce at industrial or construction sites.
