Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Procurement and Sourcing Job Description

Summary:

To lead the procurement function, formulate a comprehensive sourcing strategy, develop suppliers, manage procurement processes, and optimize cost efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a robust sourcing strategy based on market analysis, business requirements, supplier relationships, and cost-saving opportunities.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with potential suppliers for various components.
  3. Maintain a diverse supplier base to meet project demands.
  4. Manage all aspects of the procurement process, including issuing RFQs, evaluating quotations, creating purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of components.
  5. Negotiate favorable commercial terms, pricing, and conditions with suppliers.
  6. Continuously seek cost-saving alternatives while maintaining product quality.
  7. Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
  8. Regularly assess and optimize the vendor portfolio.
  9. Establish and implement effective sourcing policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in procurement roles, preferably in engineering or mechanical products.
  • Proven track record in developing supplier relationships and managing procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, with ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Experience in contract development and management.

Working Conditions:

Hybrid work arrangement, 5 days per week.
