Travel Sales Executive Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling domestic and international holiday packages, tours, flights, hotels, cruises, and travel insurance.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and achieve targets. They will also be proficient in MS Office and have knowledge of GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell travel products and services
  • Generate leads through various channels
  • Understand customer requirements and prepare customized travel itineraries
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings while meeting sales targets
  • Budget and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals
  • Ensure smooth processing of bookings, documentation, visas, and payments
  • Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and offers
  • Handle post-sales service, including resolving customer queries and complaints

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in travel sales or as a travel consultant/agent
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and sales closing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an advantage
  • Passion for travel and excellent customer service attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
