Tendering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Tendering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in the tendering process for engineering and infrastructure projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and analyze tenders from various sources, including client websites and portals. You will need to coordinate with our design team to prepare detailed costing and BOQs, review BOMs, and perform estimation and costing. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating rates with suppliers, compiling data for accurate cost estimation, and preparing and submitting final tender documents as per client requirements.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Searching and studying tenders, pre-qualification criteria, and technical specifications from various sources.
  • Coordinating with the design team for BOQ preparation, review of BOMs, and estimation and costing.
  • Negotiating rates with suppliers and compiling data for accurate cost estimation.
  • Preparing and submitting final tender documents as per client requirements.
  • Tracking the status of submitted tenders and maintaining a tender database.

The ideal candidate will have experience in tendering, estimation, and costing for engineering or infrastructure projects. They will also possess strong negotiation and coordination skills, familiarity with reading and interpreting tender documents, technical drawings, and client specifications. Proficiency in MS Excel, cost analysis, and report preparation is essential.
