Job Title: Memory Circuit Design Expert

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom memory circuits such as SRAM, ROM, CAM, Register Files, or eFuse to meet performance, power, and area (PPA) requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including layout, verification, and technology to ensure optimal circuit design and implementation.
  • Analyze and simulate key circuits including sense amplifiers, bitline pre-charge, wordline drivers, decoders, write drivers, etc. to guarantee robustness and reliability.
  • Run simulations across various process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) corners using tools like HSPICE, Spectre, or XA to validate circuit behavior.
  • Work with layout teams to optimize floorplanning and ensure DRC/LVS clean layouts, minimizing design iterations and re-spins.
  • Perform post-layout simulations and analysis to identify potential issues such as IR drop, electromigration, and aging effects.
  • Contribute to memory characterization, yield improvement, and silicon bring-up support to accelerate product development.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in memory compiler development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
Requirements:
  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or VLSI with a strong background in analog/mixed-signal CMOS circuit design.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in full-custom memory design with proficiency in simulation tools such as HSPICE, Spectre, FastSPICE, and XA.
  • Familiarity with advanced nodes (e.g., 28nm, 16nm, 7nm, 5nm, FinFET) and ESD, IR drop, EM, and reliability analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of process variation and Monte Carlo simulations to predict and mitigate design risks.
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
