Regional Finance Director Role

This is a critical leadership position that involves leading regional financial operations and management. The role also requires providing strategic financial insights to the regional management team, tax, treasury, and governance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing Regional Finance Strategy: Develop and implement regional finance strategy and objectives in line with global strategy.
  • Financial Closing: Oversee the financial closing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Financial Reporting: Supervise the preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
  • Adherence to Accounting Standards: Ensure adherence to international accounting standards and monitoring and adapting to financial regulation changes.
  • Process Improvements: Drive improvements in financial processes, optimizing workflows, and enhancing reporting accuracy.
  • Auditor Liaison: Act as the main contact for auditors.
  • Financial Expertise: Provide financial expertise and guidance to leadership, contributing to business planning, budgeting, and strategic forecasting.
  • Team Leadership: Coach, develop, and motivate a team of finance professionals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall financial governance.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant controlling and advisory experience
  • Experience managing and developing Finance teams in a multi-national environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate complex financial environments and drive process efficiencies
