Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in advising clients on regulatory matters under SEBI regulations,including ICDR, LODR, Takeover Code, Insider Trading, and Mutual FundRegulations.
• Support in drafting and reviewing corporate contracts such as shareholders'agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Provide research support and documentation for setting up mutual funds,AIFs, and assisting investment managers with compliance.
• Conduct preliminary legal due diligence in M&A and fund structuring mattersunder guidance.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities such as SEBI and RBI for filings,clarifications, and responses.
• Stay updated with changes in laws affecting capital markets, securities, andcompany regulations.
• Draft internal legal notes, compliance checklists, and opinion briefs undersupervision.
• Assist the senior team in maintaining client communication and trackingdeliverables.Key Skills & Competencies:
• Basic understanding of SEBI laws, Companies Act, and mutual fundregulations.
• Strong research, writing, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced regulatory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
• Effective communication skills for internal coordination and external clienthandling.
• Ability to multitask and work under supervision with tight timelines.Qualifications:
• LL.B. from a reputed law school/university.
• Company Secretary (CS) qualification is an added advantage but notmandatory.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legalteam.Preferred Experience (Not Mandatory):
• Exposure to SEBI filings, IPO documentation, or rights issues.
• Experience working with mutual funds, AMCs, or trustees.
• Involvement in corporate advisory, due diligence, or compliancedocumentation.
