Launch Management Lead

The Launch Management Lead will oversee the successful execution of product launches across various portfolio segments.

This role supports New Product Development project management and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product launches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with regional leaders to ensure adherence to launch milestones.
  • Drive excellence in launch management to achieve successful execution.
  • Collaborate with regional heads to deliver accurate data on launch timelines and replenishment plans.
  • Lead cross-functional planning, including resource allocation, material planning, financial assessments, and capacity planning.
  • Provide insights for portfolio decisions, identifying dependencies and implications.
  • Implement best practices in launch management, using dashboards, templates, and tools for efficient planning and execution.
  • Facilitate alignment and accountability within regional functions to meet business objectives.
  • Manage launch calendars, optimize governance processes, and partner with senior management as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication of launch status across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain integrated launch plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders within and outside the company.
  • Foster launch talent through coaching, performance management, and setting clear expectations.
  • Oversee a team of planners and launch managers.
  • Have a strong understanding of oncology/specialty products in Europe and emerging markets.
  • Provide insights on customer preferences and product potential in the European market.
  • Assess go-to-market strategies and support local teams in customer profiling, target setting, and channel planning.
  • Manage the end-to-end commercial aspects of new product launches, from demand generation to supply planning.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
