This pivotal role involves spearheading enterprise-wide compliance management programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing global whistleblower programs, leveraging seven pillars for effective corporate compliance.
  2. Conducting in-depth investigations and negotiating remediations to mitigate risk.
  3. Contributing to Compliance & Integrity Plans by preparing action plans, resolving problems, identifying trends, and implementing system improvements.
  4. Staying up-to-date on key compliance and regulatory regimes, including Whistleblower Regulations, Anti-Bribery - Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Confidentiality, and associated processes and controls.
  5. Evaluating and mitigating risk using Analytics and Automation.
  6. Reviewing and enhancing whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms in collaboration with HR.
  7. Planning and conducting trainings and communications to promote the whistleblower program.
  8. Interpreting new regulations and laws by reviewing proposed and adopted legislation.
  9. Deriving policy administration, trainings, and regular communications.
  10. Handling complaints and investigations effectively.
  11. Collaborating with various functions to support Infosys expansion agenda.
  12. Advising on public policy and working closely with the Govt. relations team.
  13. Supporting company positions by developing responses and defenses to complaints and investigations.
  14. Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and advising executive management on needed actions.
  15. Identifying legal solutions to solve complex business issues and advising internal customers.

Required qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer with JD and relevant experience as compliance counsel.
  • Additional qualification such as CA/CFA preferred.

Essential skills:

  1. Extensive report development experience and policy and procedure development in a multinational environment.
  2. Analytical skills relating to business processes, data, and interpersonal relations.
  3. Public speaking and business presentation experience.
  4. Knowledge of IT industry regulatory standards.
  5. Independent project management skills.
  6. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  7. Aptitude for innovative approach and change management.
