Job Title: Freelance Oracle SOA Technical Consultant

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a highly skilled technical consultant with expertise in designing, developing, and supporting Oracle SOA Suite integrations.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST) and a strong understanding of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, FTP, SFTP).
  • Key responsibilities include delivering synchronous, asynchronous, and bulk (batch posting) integrations, including JSON/XML-based solutions.
  • The successful candidate will perform independent testing of integrations using SOAP/REST and structured methodologies.
  • We require the development and customization of RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) using PL/SQL, APIs, and Unix shell scripts.
  • The role involves working on Oracle HRMS modules (Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, Performance Management, Talent Management, OLMS, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Fast Formulas, Loans, Advanced Benefits).
  • The candidate will build and maintain interfaces integrating EBS HRMS with third-party systems, ensuring protocol compliance (SOAP, REST, FTP, SFTP).
  • Support data migration activities ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration/technical issues independently with minimal support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technical experience in Oracle E-Business Suite with strong HRMS focus.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL, APIs, RICE components, and Advanced SQL/PLSQL.
  • Extensive experience with integration protocols (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, FTP, SFTP).
  • Familiarity with HRMS data structures and backend navigation.
  • Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for interfaces.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with functional teams in a freelance/remote setup.
