Job Summary

The goal of this role is to spearhead the development and execution of business strategies for SME clients in the region, ensuring alignment with divisional objectives and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements comprehensive business plans to achieve high performance standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manages workforce planning, providing strategic inputs on departmental workforce forecasts.
  • Formulates regional business strategies for product growth, collaborating with Product Development Teams.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Drives strategy and execution of SME businesses in the region, achieving targets and overseeing budget and financials.
  • Prepares yearly Business Development Plans in line with bank strategy for SME clients, focusing on expansion and revenue growth.
  • Achieves target set in yearly budget for new and existing clients, manages budget and financials related to these targets.
  • Liaisons with Product Development Teams to formulate region-specific strategies for product growth, fostering innovation.
  • Coaches and mentors critical talent in the team, formulating recruitment and resourcing strategies to enhance skills.
  • Reviews and coordinates quality principles and processes, ensuring stringent fraud control policies are in place, maintaining integrity.
  • Ensures minimal NPAs in the region, sponsoring and ensuring quality standards are met in management initiatives, reducing risk.
People Management Responsibilities:
  • Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the department, focusing on succession planning.
  • Mentors high potential talent in the team, enabling achievement of goals and key performance indicators, promoting excellence.
  • Provides ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of defined goals, enhancing performance.
Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities:
  • Governs implementation of risk-related policies and processes for the department, maintaining compliance.
  • Reviews internal control systems, taking corrective action based on audit findings, ensuring robustness.
