Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Integrity Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for performing stress analysis of aircraft structures using various methods and tools.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in classical methods, ISAMI, GFEM, and DFEM. You will be expected to extract loads, stresses, material data, geometry details, and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings. Additionally, you will apply appropriate static design values from standard references and create Finite Element Models (FEMs) using geometric data.

You will conduct sizing of primary and secondary structures to meet static requirements and extract fastener loads and perform detailed joint analysis. You will also calculate Reserve Factors (RF) for various failure modes, including strength, buckling, shear panel failure, and identify and implement low RF mitigations using classical or numerical methods.

Your responsibilities will include preparing stress certification dossiers, including ACD4 and SSR reports, and collaborating with design, loads, and certification teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in stress analysis, structural integrity, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of classical methods, ISAMI, GFEM, and DFEM.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
