Structural Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide structural design and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing structural design and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects (schools, hospitals, community centers, sanitation facilities, water supply structures, etc.)
  • Reviewing and finalising structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates
  • Carrying out structural analysis and ensuring compliance with international standards
  • Coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated design solutions
  • Assessing foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects
  • Preparing design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates
  • Conducting a review of project deliverables from a structural perspective
  • Providing technical guidance to project teams and support capacity building

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong expertise in structural engineering design for buildings and social infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in structural design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000)
  • Knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduated in Civil Engineering
  • Post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering
