Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an annual internal audit plan that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify and engage with vendors for program activities execution.
  • Lead the execution of the internal audit plan, ensuring timely completion and regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Conduct functional audits as per the approved annual plan and track progress.
  • Monitor and report on open internal audit observations every month.
  • Follow up on previous audit reviews to assess management's remediation efforts.
  • Establish and maintain internal audit standards, including templates, protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Create an audit repository for standardization and consistency in internal audit programs.
  • Plan and develop tools to enhance audit process quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the risk management function to identify and assess entity-level risks.

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background, preferably a chartered accountant certification, and relevant experience in implementing risk management strategies at both strategic and operational levels. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be well-versed in corporate governance, internal audit, and risk management domains.
