**Job Title: Emergency Response Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as an Emergency Response Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal welfare and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and e-mails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with animal-protection organisations, volunteers, activists, government bodies, and designated officials to facilitate emergency rescues.
  • File police complaints and First Information Reports, visit relevant agencies and case sites when needed.
  • Maintain and update a database of contacts and services available to our emergency response team.
  • Ensure thorough records are maintained for all emergency calls and e-mails, including how they were handled and concluded.
  • Participate in professional development training on animal handling, restraining, first aid, and other relevant lessons.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognised institution.
  • Voluntary or other experience handling emergency responses for animals is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English.
  • Knowledge of other local Indian languages is a bonus.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, including multi-tasking.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for ending cruelty to animals and helping those in need.
