Support Specialist Role

iDare is a holistic mobile app that empowers individuals to recognize, prevent, and overcome challenges like abuse, mental health struggles, and relationship issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist users with application cases related to abuse, mental health, and trauma via voice and non-voice (call and chats) on iDare Platforms
  2. Conduct user assessments: Perform comprehensive evaluations of individuals' needs, including symptom evaluation, risk factor identification, and customized plan formulation
  3. Provide crisis intervention: Offer immediate support and intervention for individuals experiencing distress, assess for safety, facilitate de-escalation, and coordinate referrals as necessary
  4. Educate clients and families about rights violation, mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources available to support their well-being
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including content creation
  6. Maintain documentation: Keep accurate records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions in compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations
  7. Stay informed about current developments in the field, participate in ongoing training, and pursue growth opportunities as appropriate
  8. Promote awareness about abuse, trauma, mental health to reduce stigma and advocate for holistic wellness
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree in Psychology or Counselling
  2. Preferred candidates specialized in counselling psychology
  3. Flexible work arrangement in rotational shifts
  4. Typing speed of 30-35 words per minute with 90% accuracy
  5. Empathy and ability to provide compassionate support and understanding to individuals who have experienced abuse or injustice
  6. Deep understanding of mental health importance and a commitment to promoting awareness and support
  7. Collaborative team player with a structured and conceptual approach to work
  8. Excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills
