Job Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our shared services operations based in India.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-country shared services centers and driving process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and the ability to drive change in complex environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence and service quality across multiple African markets.
  • Establish robust KPI dashboards and governance routines to monitor performance and ensure compliance with agreed metrics.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with country finance and operations teams across Africa.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team within the Shared Services center.
  • Oversee statutory and internal audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.

Financial Operations and Reporting

  • Manage financial control processes including month-end close, consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements.
  • Support the Head of Finance in financial analysis and business performance management.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in finance, shared services, preferably in automotive distribution or related sectors.
  • Strong expertise in audit, tax, and financial control across African markets.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and shared services technologies.
